Topic: “Emotional Healing in Cancer Patients”

Emotions are without doubt omnipresent in our lives. They form the basis for our state of being – physical as well as mental – for our decisions and the interpretation of our experiences.

Emotions resulting from past events that we have not released yet stay stored in the system and exert a significant influence on our state of health and well-being. This presents a chronic strain, that we are more or less aware about and that can lead to physical or mental disorders.

Cancer patients in particular are confronted with a multitude of emotional issues: In addition to “emotional residuals” from the past and their probable influence on the development of the disease, they have to deal with the belief systems of their doctors, with worries and fears of their loved ones, with a more or less supportive work-related background, with after- and side-effects of anti-tumoral therapies and of course with their own fears of a lethal outcome of a potentially life-threatening disease.

In my work I apply a method, that uses conscious perception and conscious relaxation with the result of healing and resolving emotions. The results I observe in my own life and with my clients convince me over and over again. Emotional Healing is the basis for development and growth, for unfolding our potential and – last but not least – a path to more joy and grace in our lives.
